Welcome to The 411 House! We create a space of belonging that champions young leaders in East Temple and invites them to dream, discover and change the world for the glory of God. We do this by building community, offering experiences and growing our relationships with God, self and others. Everything that we do has a purpose. Each of our programs is done for one or more of the following reasons:

Provide a safe place
Build relationships with God, self and others
Offer spiritual enrichment
Teach life skills
Open doors to new opportunities

In order to make these things happen, we need support from the community. We hope you will find a specific way that you can come alongside us in fulfilling our mission and purpose in East Temple.

Donations

The #1 most helpful way to support us is through a recurring monthly donation. Thank you to those individuals and organizations that are already doing this. It is so helpful to a new nonprofit like us because it is consistent. We know that it is coming and we can depend on it and plan around it. One-time donations are also available through PayPal, Venmo, and check (payable to Bridge East Temple or The 411 House and mailed to 411 S. 32 St., Temple, TX 76501).

You can also purchase items through our Amazon Wishlist, which is updated regularly. Subscribe and Save items are super helpful because, once again, they are consistent.

We would love for you to join us and help build relationships in our community!

Volunteer Opportunities

Mentorships

Investing relationally in our youth is one of the pillars of our organization. If you are interested in mentoring, we ask that you can commit to the following:

  1. Time Commitment
    • Attend 2 events per month
    • Reach out to youth on the weeks you don’t see them in person
    • Attend 1 yearly mentor training
  2. Character Commitment
    • We want our youth to know the love of God, and leave encouraged when they meet with their mentors.
  3. Church Commitment
    • Our mentors must be actively growing in their love and walk with the Lord in a local church community.

Process of becoming a mentor:

  1. Mentor Application
  2. Interview
  3. Background Check
  4. Training

Provide Dinner

We believe that one of the primary places relationships happen is around the dinner table, so we serve meals at most of our gatherings. If you or a group are interested in providing a meal for our kids, please contact us. Due to Covid, meals must come from local restaurants. We need a person signed up to pick up the meal for us and deliver it to our event, and another person signed up to prepare snack bags ahead of time. Snack bags can either be delivered the night of the event or ahead of time. To help with meals or snacks, sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a044aa9af29a7fb6-volunteer

Serve at our Events

We need extra hands at our events to work behind the scenes with set up, check in and meal coordination.

If you are interested in serving in this way, please fill out our volunteer application.

Pray

We need our local community committed to praying for our organization, board of directors, volunteers, staff, kids and families. Please email us if you, your church or small group would like to commit to praying for one of these groups specifically.
